“Die Before You Die” is a process that supports you to connect with a sense of wholeness and continuity – of inner and outer, breathing in and breathing out, past and future, I and thou, life and death.
This is an opportunity for deeper embodiment, to honour the being human, our flesh and bones, and the infinite energy that is constantly moving us.
To die and to be born is a Sufi paradox, the understanding that death and life happens each moment. The death of what we believe we are, in its different manifestations, is necessary for recognizing our true nature, so that we can be totally alive.
In this Course we are going to experience how our energy can be liberated from attachments and identifications that create suffering in our lives.
“Since our Sufi group, I feel I am more here and now, in every moment. Also, I feel more pleasure in the smallest beauties of every day. Thank you especially for sharing BEAUTY with us – songs, poems – pointing out at whatever can be seen as beautiful. Beauty draws me nearer to God because it touches my heart so much...” Kamila
The Sufi techniques help us to wake up our vital energy, to open, to look and to recognize themes and situations where we feel stagnated and tense.
We will explore where we stop our energy because of fear of losing somebody or something – the fear of surrender to the unknown, and we learn to create an ambiance of loving acceptance around those fears and tensions through Sufi practices and meditations.
The Sufi practices include breath, sounds and movements, and work on the body at many levels, especially at the areas of heart and spine.
“I greatly appreciated Komala’s approach, which systematically lead me forward in every step with tremendous lightness and naturality When my body and mind refused to continue, she came with a song, a dance, a practice or a story, which was enough to breath out and bring the desire to go on again and again…”
The sound vibration of mantras, music and poetry used in those practices touch deep inner spaces, traveling through the fluids and tissues, bringing to the body-mind system messages of love and remembrance of its original wholeness.
This is a time to let life fully in and to celebrate the beauty and the great mystery of life and death.
